The injured Thoroughbreds were handed their first loss of the regular season by the Sea Devils of Cape Fear Community College. The Herd traveled to Wilmington with a full team. However, four starters were injured and proved to impact the combined average of 62 points in the last four games played.
Migwaanhs Barrrientoz, and Khalil Baker were out for the game. Sam Benton Jr started the game with a strained muscle and was only able to play for two minutes before completely checking out for the rest of the contest. Wol Yak nursing a knee injury was limited in action.
The Thoroughbreds battled to the end but the Sea Devils were too much to handle for the night. The Thoroughbreds will be back in action on Saturday, November 18th for a road game to face Allen University.
