The Blue Lights men's basketball team opens home play with something different on Wednesday, January 8: A midday tipoff in downtown Apex, all for a good cause!
The Thoroughbreds invite everyone to their 2020 home opener at Apex Baptist Church, 110 S Salem Street in Apex, Wednesday afternoon starting at 12:30 as they take on Trinity Baptist College.
This "businessman's special" will also raise food and funds for the St. Mary's AME Church food pantry. Pay the regular admission price of $5 for admission and that money will go to help feed the hungry in Apex...OR, bring four canned goods to the game as a donation and get in at no charge!
Come cheer the Herd to a win on the court AND for the needy in our area. We'll see you Wednesday afternoon!
