The second-seeded Thoroughbreds open play Thursday at 6:00 pm Eastern time (5:00 pm Central) against third-seeded Appalachian Bible College at Lake Zurich, Illinois outside Chicago.
"We are thrilled to be asked to participate again," said athletic director Mike Davis. "Our guys were disappointed with a fourth-place finish last year, and they really hope to bring home the hardware this time."
The 2019-20 squad lost to eventual NIT champion Davis College by six in the semifinals and then dropped a heart-breaking double-overtime game to Trinity College of Florida in the consolation bracket. Trinity is this year's top seed.
The games will be livestreamed at
