Freshman forward Eric Williams scored 16 points and collected a game-high 18 rebounds while fellow frosh Jeremiah Baker poured in 20 points to push Blue Lights College past powerful Combine Academy 78-71 Friday night in Lincolnton.
Kenny Anderson added 13 points along with Chris Koger's 11.
The win pushed the Thoroughbreds' record to 6-6 on the year as they prepare to entertain in-attendance fans at home for the first time this season on Tuesday when they host Bryant & Stratton. The game is set to tip off at 6:00 pm at Hope Community Church Apex. Tickets will be available at the door for $5.00 for adults and children under 10 admitted free.
