JEREMIAH BAKER NAMED CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK!

Jeremiah Baker of Blue Lights College has been named the NSAC Player of the Week for his outstanding efforts in two games last week.

On Tuesday March 9, Baker scored 16 points, grabbed three rebounds, claimed two steals and dished an assist in the Thoroughbreds’ 87-78 win over Bryant & Stratton.

The freshman from Apex followed up with an even stronger performance in Winston-Salem on Saturday night, driving the lane for 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting, six boards, four steals and another assist in leading the Lights to a 79-59 conference win over Carolina Christian.

“Jeremiah has given us consistent numbers recently and deserves this award,” said BLC coach Mario Pharr.
